As a Manager - Business Analyst, you will manage health & wellness business requirements and implementation in active collaboration with functional representatives. Your typical week might include:

  • Soliciting, developing, and validating business requirement documentation through a clear understanding of ‘as-is’ vs ‘to-be’ process, and documenting clear acceptance criteria for user stories.
  • Leading brainstorming sessions with key stakeholders to account for comprehensive business requirements and opportunities while creating delightful experiences.
  • Developing in-depth understanding of business processes, articulating use-cases, user-stories & requirement documents/change requests for identified features/capabilities for applicable platforms and projects.
  • Performing process impact analysis across various platforms, holding an end-to-end view of user journeys.
  • Designing Business Process Flows, reviewing with key functional stakeholders, and obtaining signoff.
  • Facilitating discussions, gathering feedback, and ensuring proposed improvements align with business process objectives.
  • Partnering with functional process owners to support capability vision, strategy & roadmap.
  • Understanding business objectives, processes, and products to make educated recommendations.
  • Documenting business process flow diagrams and reviewing with functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Identifying pain points, bottlenecks, redundancies, delays, errors, or areas to enhance the process and uncovering root causes.
  • Checking if current processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Using techniques such as flowcharts, BPMN diagrams, or process maps to illustrate business processes.
  • Undertaking iterations in signed-off Business Process Flow, when required, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations based on current book of work and capacity.
  • Ensuring acceptance criteria are defined & met, and leading testing in collaboration with functional users.

You could be the right candidate if you:

  • Have 7-9 years of total experience with health insurance, wellness, payments, financial services, e-commerce, insurance core systems, insurance tele-sales & customer servicing, with at least 3 years’ experience in health insurance.
  • Have end-to-end knowledge of health insurance products, operations processes, and technology systems.
  • Can understand high-level processes and convert them into detailed business requirement documents.
  • Have a proven track record of end-to-end implementation and business outcome delivery of significant insurance systems.
  • Are an expert in designing wireframes, UX flows, customer journey maps, conducting usability testing, interpreting feedback, and incorporating insights.
  • Are a true team player with interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate & communicate effectively across disciplines.
  • Can function as an indispensable member of the team, operating iteratively, and are an effective communicator.
  • Have hands-on knowledge of Confluence & JIRA, behavioral analytics platforms, BI tools, and SDLC tracking tools.
