Tax Manager

Electronic Arts is seeking a Tax Manager to lead their Hyderabad tax team, providing professional guidance and support, including technical tax training, preparing and conducting detailed-review of tax return and provision workpapers for US federal, state, and US/International tax deliverables.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of US federal and state income tax, exceptional analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and mentor the Hyderabad-based tax team, providing technical income tax training and professional and career development support.
• Oversee and review US federal and state tax return workpapers, tax returns, tax provision workpapers, and US/international inputs.
• Prepare complex tax analyses and workpapers, and take ownership of ad hoc tax research/projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all US and state compliance deliverables.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting US tax compliance and communicate updates to the team.
• Support US tax audits and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in US tax compliance, with 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Deep expertise in US federal and state tax compliance.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP tax accounting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Familiarity with tax automation technologies.
