Description
You will lead and program manage the development and release to manufacturing of creative silicon photonics products as a Product Lifecycle Supply Chain Project Manager at Cisco. This role involves handling the product lifecycle from pre-concept commit to FCS, partnering with Optics BUs, PLM, Engineering, and leading a cross-functional team from Cisco Optics Operations to deliver optical transceiver modules.
Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting time-to-market requirements
- Achieving product cost targets
- Yield goals
- Volume ramp plans
You will work with a cross-functional team in Optics Operations and partner with Supply Chain Operations functions, including Global Sourcing and Technology & Quality.
The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing and supply chain management of optics and opto-electronic assemblies, and possesses:
- Extraordinary program management skills
- Deep experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Understanding of optical product design and development methodologies
- Understanding of silicon photonics technology
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to influence key partners, senior leaders, and external partners
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or product development
- Experience working on new product introductions with manufacturers, suppliers, and product development teams
Preferred qualifications include PMP Certification.
