PSA | Oracle Report Analyst

Prudential is seeking an Oracle Report Analyst to analyse, design, and implement the Oracle Report ecosystem supporting all subledger processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity, security, and performance of Prudential's E2E closing throughout the system lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

• Technical Support
• Design and implement Oracle Fusion Reports and Integrations such as BIP, XML, OTBI, SmartView, and FRS; OCI, and ATP Database (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL)
• Provide second-level technical support for Oracle Complete Report ecosystem involving ERP finance modules
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Oracle ERP functionality, user access, system performance, and data integrity
• Collaborate with L1 support teams to ensure timely escalation and resolution of complex issues
• Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions

• User Assistance, Knowledge Management, and Training
• Assist end-users with navigation, data entry, and reporting within the Oracle ERP finance modules
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to enhance user proficiency and understanding of the ERP system
• Provide guidance on best practices and procedural compliance to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis
• Create Knowledge documents and repositories to capture Standard Operating Procedures
• Mentor and train L1 support staff on advanced troubleshooting techniques and best practices for Oracle ERP support

• System Maintenance and Enhancement
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality
• Assist in the configuration and testing of new features, patches, and upgrades to the Oracle ERP system
• Participate in system integration projects and collaborate with IT and business teams to implement enhancements
• Document system changes, configurations, and procedures to maintain accurate records and support knowledge transfer

• Compliance and Reporting
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies related to financial data management and reporting
• Generate and review financial reports to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with auditors and compliance officers to provide necessary documentation and support during audits

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing report architectures for complex Oracle Fusion financial systems
• Experience with data migration, data quality management, and data governance frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials Reports including BIP, XML, OTBI, SmartView, and FRS; OCI, and ATP Database (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL)
• Experience with data architecture, data engineering, and integration patterns in Financial Services
• Familiarity with financial accounting concepts and processes

Preferred Skills

• Technology delivery project management experience
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD practices, master data management, and data governance
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion report ecosystem along with Financial data structure and data integration techniques
