Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our Global Logistics team in Elsbethen, Austria. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing transportation and warehousing services for key business units, working closely with a global network of third-party logistics providers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with international third-party logistics providers, including monitoring inbound and outbound deliveries, aligning logistics capacities, and coordinating solutions for exceptional transportation issues.
- Plan and manage international logistics tenders in collaboration with internal stakeholders and 3PL partners, conducting comprehensive pricing and performance benchmarks to support the allocation of shipping volumes and identify opportunities to improve service levels, efficiency, and cost structures.
- Manage the systems, processes, and data required for effective supply chain execution within our ERP environment, with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement.
- Lead logistics-related projects from initial concept through to successful completion, coordinating stakeholders and keeping deliverables, timelines, and business objectives on track.
- Work closely with local subsidiaries to understand and consolidate their logistics needs, adapting processes and supply chain solutions to provide effective and scalable services.
Requirements:
- Up to five years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally within an international FMCG environment.
- A proactive team player and solution-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify key issues, recognize opportunities, and translate insights into effective actions.
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and assume responsibility in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
- A process-oriented mindset and a holistic understanding of logistics within the end-to-end supply chain.
- Solid project management skills and a strong completer-finisher mentality.
- Very good command of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system is an advantage.
- Fluent English; additional languages are considered an asset.
