Description
We're the world's leading consumer healthcare platform, supporting millions of patients across the US, Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan, Spain, and Canada. We're driven by the belief that good health should last a lifetime, and that to get there we need to deliver the personalised, high-quality, and empathetic care that the traditional system cannot support.
You will partner with our care teams of prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, and dietitians to support patients across preventative health, weight management, and specific women's and men's health conditions.
About the role (What you’ll be doing)
We are looking for a Planning & Procurement Manager to build and lead the Planning and Procurement functions at Eucalyptus AU as the business scales and integrates the Hims & Hers portfolio. This is a hands-on, building role. You will be expected to delve into the detail in areas that need focus, building the structure from the ground up , running negotiations, designing frameworks, and leading the S&OP cycle , while also stepping back to lead the function and develop your direct report.
As our Planning & Procurement Manager, you will:
- Design and build the Planning & Procurement operating model , personally establish the frameworks, structures, and processes that both functions run on.
- Build and personally run the S&OP process , design and lead the monthly S&OP cycle yourself, bringing together commercial demand signals, inventory positions, supplier performance, and supply constraints.
- Build the category strategy in partnership with Commercial , partner with the Commercial team to understand the commercial strategy they own, and translate it into an aligned category sourcing and negotiation strategy.
- Own supplier performance and quarterly business reviews , personally run structured QBRs with strategic suppliers, set and track performance scorecards.
- Design the supply-risk and contracting framework with Legal , build the framework for identifying and mitigating supply risk across categories.
- Own new product and category launches , partner with Commercial and Clinical on new product lines and personally own the procurement and supply side of bringing them to market.
- Manage and develop the Supply & Product Planner , manage, coach, and develop your direct report.
- Coach the broader team and raise the bar , practise radical candour, set the quality standard for how the function sources and plans.
About you (Who you are)
- 6+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain planning, ideally within FMCG, pharma, healthcare, or another regulated consumer-goods environment.
- A hands-on operator who is energised by working in the detail as much as by the strategy.
- Demonstrated experience designing and building procurement or planning frameworks, operating models, and processes from scratch.
- Comfortable designing and running an S&OP process; hands-on experience with supply and demand planning is highly desirable.
- Experience managing or coaching others; a track record of developing less experienced team members is important.
- A proven commercial negotiator who has designed and delivered category strategies and measurable outcomes.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian import, labelling, and regulatory requirements.
- Analytical and fluent with cost, margin, and inventory data; hands-on experience with ERP and procurement systems is advantageous.
- A collaborative cross-functional partner who can translate commercial strategy into category plans.
- Resilient and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-scaling, post-acquisition environment.
