Assistant Content Designer - EA SPORTS™ NHL

Electronic Arts is looking for an Assistant Content Designer to join the EA SPORTS™ NHL team in Vancouver, British Columbia.

As an Assistant Content Designer, you will work closely with the production and design team to identify and create live content that EA Sports customers desire. Your responsibilities will include live content design and execution, requiring collaboration skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external developers.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with the NHL Live Team to build and execute on the live content plan.
• Execute content plans, meet deadlines, and quality levels for live content.
• Translate real-world events into live content ideas/plans on short notice.
• Define goals and opportunities for live content based on Key Performance Indicators.
• Collaborate with NHL producers to understand targets and priority changes.
• Communicate progress and quality with the NHL team effectively.
• Develop game-wide relationships and strong engagement with other groups.
• Manage dependencies and coordinate deliverables across teams.
• Contribute to team morale and encourage positive working relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of background in game design and/or production with relevant experience working on a live service.
• Knowledge of hockey and a genuine passion for the sport.
• Good eye for product quality and usability.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
