As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
You'll be part of a team that prioritizes providing a great shopping experience for our customers, and your contributions will help earn their trust and loyalty.
In addition to your contractual pay of £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days), you'll receive a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replenish stock to maintain full shelves and ensure products are in the right place at the right time.
- Fulfill online customer orders for delivery.
- Reduce product wastage by monitoring sell-by dates and applying markdowns.
- Provide checkout support and manage Click & Collect orders as needed.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
Essential Skills:
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interactions.

- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of food and drink trends.
- Flexible approach to supporting the branch team.
The role involves varied hours of part-time work across seven days, including weekends, between 21:00 and 07:30. This is a temporary position at Partnership Level 10.
