Sr. Public Relations Manager

As a Senior Public Relations Manager, you'll help shape the voice of Databricks, a leading tech company at the forefront of data + AI.

You'll partner with the Senior Director of Global Communications to lead PR programs that elevate the company's profile, showcase innovations, and position leaders at the centre of enterprise AI.

Key responsibilities include:

• Shaping communications strategy and setting direction for PR programs
• Generating high-quality media coverage in top-tier outlets and new media publications
• Driving cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and executive teams
• Using AI tools to automate routine tasks and improve workflows
• Creating high-quality content, including press releases, blog posts, and op-eds
• Elevating executive communications and positioning executives as leading voices in AI
• Leading agency relationships and ensuring high-impact results

Requirements:

• 8+ years of communications experience in an enterprise software or growth-stage technology company
• Experience working with data and AI companies and technologies
• Fluency with AI tools and a track record of using them to improve workflows
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative, team player with a proven track record of partnering cross-functionally
• Deep understanding of the media and new media landscape
• Experience with crisis communications and reputation management
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
