Cleaning Operative

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Operative to join our team at Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties as directed by the manager or supervisor.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain washrooms, toilets, showers, and top up consumables
• Perform hard floor cleaning, spot cleaning, and clean spillages
• Clean carpet spots, vacuum, and clean kitchenettes, seating areas, restaurant tables and floors, and remove waste
• Maintain reception, lifts, entrance doors, and general areas
• Dust and maintain standards in all common areas, including corridors, stairs, meeting rooms, and offices
• Perform touch point cleaning and sanitising fogging
• Undertake any other related duties as directed by the supervisor/manager

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Smart, clean appearance
• Ability to work as part of a team and alone
• Proactive and flexible attitude to work
• Punctual, trustworthy, and good eye for detail
