Description
We are seeking a self-driven, organized, and adaptive General Accountant to join our three-person Accounting team in a hybrid role requiring work from our Mississauga office.
The General Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and support multiple subsidiary accounting. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and managing month-end close, reconciling and investigating account balances
- Analyzing budget to actual variances and supporting external audits
- Liaising with various parties within the organization and producing analytics for management review
- Maintaining and enhancing current processes to improve day-to-day and month-end processes
The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of accounting experience, solid accounting knowledge, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
We offer a salary range of $72,000 - $80,000 per year, plus benefits, including retirement plan matching, flexible paid time off, and wellness support programs.
