Technical Lead (Loudspeakers)

We are seeking a Technical Lead (Loudspeakers) to own and lead change management, discovery, NPI, architecture, product compliance, and maintenance work for our next generation of award-winning active studio monitor speakers.

As a Technical Lead, you will report to the Director of R&D and lead the technical direction of our Hardware Development team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to oversee the development of our products.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop fully assembled speakers, electronics hardware, firmware, and QA.
• Ensure designs are suitable for mass production and comply with market regulations.
• Plan R&D team activities, estimate complexity and cost, and collaborate with leadership to meet deadlines.
• Support team members and promote individual and team development.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical lead position in consumer or professional audio.
• Experience in applying leadership and team building techniques.
• Proficiency in IT software tools like MS Office, Confluence, Jira, and GitHub.
• Strong ability to analyze and present trade-offs between cost, quality, complexity, and development time.
• Excellent team working and communication skills in English.
