Description
We are seeking a Principal Technical Solutions Expert to join our team. As a Principal Technical Solutions Expert, you will identify solutions based on business and technical criteria, analyze alternatives, and implement designs. You will research current and emerging technologies and process methodologies and propose changes and tailoring where needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the system and business process architectures currently in place and work with staff to recommend improvements.
- Ensure technical architecture teams deliver efficient and effective system solutions to support business goals and objectives.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain established service design procedure and process by applying process frameworks and methodologies.
- Prepare and present test plans, technical presentations, and analyst briefings.
- Identify customer requirements, analyze alternatives, and conduct product recommendations related to software, platform, and network configurations.
- Provide updates to stakeholders on project cost, schedule, and quality in comparison to stakeholder objectives.
- May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals.
- May serve as a team or task lead.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of Avaya systems design and analysis
- Excellent communication skills
- Deep analytical skills
- Project and resource management skills
Nice to Have:
- Proficiencies in Voice, IP, ATM, Optical, Wireless, Multi-Media, Unified Communications, and Video technologies
- Experience with Avaya license structure and pricing strategies
