Senior Product Manager, Billing Engine & Platforms Monetization

GitLab is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Billing Engine & Platforms Monetization. The successful candidate will own the product direction for metering, aggregation, and rating in GitLab's usage billing pipeline.

The role involves:

• Owning the product direction for metering, aggregation, and rating in GitLab's usage billing pipeline, including Zuora and CustomersDot integrations.
• Making onboarding a new credit-consuming capability a repeatable process.
• Partnering with product teams on instrumentation, metering, pricing, and billing.
• Prioritizing pipeline scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Defining and tracking measures of billing accuracy, pipeline reliability, cost to serve per capability, and time to monetize.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience owning product direction of consumption- or usage-based billing systems.
• Experience with Zuora or comparable billing and revenue platforms.
• Experience with prepaid, commitment, or credit-drawdown pricing models.
• Experience launching new products or pricing models while coordinating across teams.
• Ability to bring together teams around work their launches depend on.
• Clear written communication in an all-remote, asynchronous environment.
