Description
We are seeking a qualified Environmental Health Officer to join our Private Sector Housing Service team. As a Principal Environmental Health Officer, you will play a key role in elevating standards in Camden's private rented sector. Your main goal will be to support our Houses in Multiple Occupation licensing schemes, leading on enforcement and compliance inspections. You will have the opportunity to support and mentor a team of professional officers in their development and performance to deliver service objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a detailed knowledge/understanding of the Housing Act 2004, and other legislative framework relevant to improving housing management and conditions and its application to casework. You will have proven experience of providing advice on complex cases and acting as a mentor for training purposes.
