Journeyman Electrician

SpaceXAI is seeking skilled Journeyman and/or Master Electricians to join its internal construction team for rapid data center build-outs. This traveling role involves installing and commissioning mission-critical electrical systems, working on high-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, backup power systems, grounding, lighting, and process power.

Responsibilities:

• Travel with construction and electrical teams to project sites to install, terminate, and test electrical systems
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems
• Support commissioning activities such as point-to-point checks and system energization
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Ensure full compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and SpaceXAI safety & quality standards
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and operations teams to deliver projects on time with zero incidents
• Participate in constructability reviews and provide field feedback
• Maintain accurate documentation and test records
• Mobilize quickly between project locations as construction phases shift

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems at 480V or above
• Prior experience with data center or hyperscale power infrastructure
• Experience working on large-scale, multi-site construction projects with frequent travel
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in industrial environments with PPE
• Current OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training with strong safety mindset
• Proficiency with test equipment and knowledge of PLC/controls, SCADA, or variable frequency drives
