Description
We are offering a dual study programme in Software Technology with a focus on Data Science. The programme will start on August 1, 2027, and will last for 7 semesters.
As a dual student, you will learn to analyse, design, and implement modern digital solutions and products. You will acquire the basics and practical skills for working with heterogeneous systems and will be accompanied through all development phases, from project planning to implementation.
In the Data Science focus, you will specialise in the use, evaluation, and visualisation of company data. You will identify data sources, build data models, develop analysis applications, and apply advanced statistics and AI methods.
Study contents: You will acquire skills and knowledge in the following areas:
- Computer science
- Digitalisation
- Analysis and design of information systems
- Data management
- Algorithms and data structures
- Artificial intelligence (AI)

- Practical phase: Various areas of the company at the Marburg location
- Theory phase: Technical University of Central Hesse / study location: Wetzlar
Remuneration:
- 1st year of training (1st + 2nd semester): €1,156
- 2nd year of training (3rd + 4th semester): €1,247
- 3rd year of training (5th + 6th semester): €1,315
- 4th year of training (7th semester): €1,412
