Supply Chain Planning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our team at Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems (CDBS) in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León, Mexico.

As a Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will lead daily supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, reliability, and alignment with customer expectations. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Cummins Operating System (COS) and Functional Excellence strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading inter-functional planning processes and collaborating with business units to ensure supply chain alignment
• Identifying and mitigating supply constraints through collaboration with suppliers and internal areas
• Developing and improving supply chain processes, procedures, and performance standards through strong business alliances
• Analysing operational trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing corrective action plans to achieve performance objectives
• Monitoring and strengthening key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve visibility and decision-making
• Proactively addressing supply chain disruptions and escalating critical issues to ensure operational stability
• Providing support for the annual operating plan, including resource planning, expense administration, and capital investments
• Leading, developing, and advising team members by setting goals, supporting professional growth, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Over 7 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager in the automotive sector, preferably in heavy-duty vehicles
• Solid experience in material flow engineering and packaging processes
• Experience with Blue Yonder Supply Chain Management and omnichannel commerce solutions
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain optimisation processes
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, and Operations teams
• Experience using data analysis and performance indicators to forecast demand and optimise inventory levels
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills during supply chain disruptions
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational execution and long-term improvement initiatives
• Advanced English language skills
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally up to 25% of the time
