Patient Services Coordinator

We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join our team in St Augustine, Florida. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring every step of the care journey is seamless, efficient, and supportive.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Verify insurance coverage and manage benefits
• Obtain authorization and prior authorization
• Manage over-the-counter collections and reconcile charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments

Qualifications:

• High school or GED diploma
• 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare

Schedule:

• Early August start date
• Full-time: available within 7am-7pm, Monday-Friday

Compensation:

• Pay range: $18-19/hour
