As a Senior Software Engineer at Monzo, you will collaborate with your team to make a difference to customers. You will work in a squad alongside other disciplines like product managers, marketers, user researchers, designers, mobile engineers, web engineers, data analysts, business analysts, and writers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and supporting a particular part of Monzo's banking platform
- Working with a variety of technologies including Go, Cassandra, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Envoy Proxy, AWS, and GCP
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve interesting challenges
Requirements:
- Strong experience working on the backend of a technology product
- Product mindset: caring about customer outcomes and making data-informed decisions
- Comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity
- Experience with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, C, Scala etc.)
