Level Designer

We are seeking a Level Designer to join our EA Create APAC team. As a Level Designer, you will own the level design and gameplay of MP maps for an EA franchise. You will work closely with the team to brainstorm and pitch directions, prove concepts, and execute delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Block out playable spaces and multiplayer gameplay content using our internal level editor and visual scripting language.
• Manage layout, flow, pacing, and overall player experience of your level from concept to final.
• Communicate closely with project leadership and craft leadership to ensure alignment with game design.
• Report to Producer.
• Document level design intentions to provide a clear and accessible resource for the team.
• Identify and address potential risks, dependencies, and constraints related to level design with other departments.
• Champion the player experience as you collaborate with other disciplines to create outstanding levels and best-in-class FPS content.

Qualifications:

• At least one multiplayer FPS title shipped, with 3+ years of experience in level design.
• Experience in multiplayer shooter games as a level designer and/or an avid player.
• General understanding of 3D spaces.
• Experience with visual scripting and level design tools.
• Passionate gamer with strong knowledge of FPS and action games.
• Comfortable working in cross-discipline teams to deliver high-quality content.
• Prototype ideas and able to prove those ideas with all partners.
• Outstanding communication and documentation skills.
• Good English skills, able to demonstrate design intention accurately.
