We are seeking volunteers to contribute their time to Intermountain Health Park City Hospital in various roles.
As a volunteer, you will play a valuable role in creating a welcoming, caring environment for patients, visitors, and caregivers. You can make a meaningful difference in someone's day through a friendly smile, a warm greeting, or a helping hand.
This is a non-paid volunteer position requiring a commitment of one 3-hour shift per week.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Greeter/Wayfinder: Welcome patients and visitors, provide directions, answer questions, and help people feel comfortable while navigating the hospital.
- Gift Shop Attendant: Assist customers, help with merchandise, and create a friendly shopping experience for patients, visitors, and caregivers.
- Music Volunteer: Share your musical talent by playing the piano or harp in the hospital lobby to create a calming and welcoming atmosphere.
- Pet Therapy Volunteer: Visit with your approved therapy animal to bring comfort, smiles, and companionship to patients, visitors, and caregivers. An Intermountain Pet Therapy Certification is required for this role.
