Mekanikkonstruktör/Mechanical Design Engineer - Fordonsindustrin

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of future vehicles and innovative technical solutions. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work on exciting development projects in the automotive industry, from concept development to finished product, with some of the leading players in the industry.

Responsibilities: Depending on the assignment, your tasks as a mechanical design engineer may include:

• Mechanical design and product development of components and systems
• CAD design and creation of technical documentation
• Technical problem-solving and implementation of technical investigations
• Work with verification, quality activities, and development processes
• Collaboration with suppliers and other stakeholders throughout the development chain
• Contributing to ensuring robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective design solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA V5, Siemens NX, or Creo
• Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill
• Good understanding of product development processes and component design
• Experience with technical documentation and release of design documentation
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaboration with suppliers
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• B driver's license

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of GD&T
• Experience with DFM/DFA, DFMEA, and tolerance analysis
• Experience with verification and validation
• Knowledge of quality methods and product development processes in the automotive industry
• Swedish language skills, spoken and written
