Physical Therapist Assistant

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will assist patients with therapy activities and exercises to improve their quality of life and ability to perform daily activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide, monitor, and record therapy services to patients with physical, cognitive, and developmental impairments.
• Select, implement, and modify therapeutic activities and interventions consistent with patient goals and practice setting requirements.
• Collaborate with physical therapists to exchange information and provide documentation on patient progress.
• Follow accepted clinical practice guidelines and adhere to state licensure standards.

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.

Schedule Details:

• PRN - pick up open shifts/hours as it fits with your schedule
• Monday - Friday (weekdays/weekends/holidays can be flexible)
• Paid travel and mileage between home health patients.
