AIA Digital+ is seeking an Assistant Manager to support Group and Business Unit Finance and Actuarial Transformation Initiatives. The successful candidate will play an active role in shaping a better tomorrow, working on process review, requirements analysis, solution implementation, reporting enhancement and cross-functional coordination across Finance, Actuarial, Data and IT.
Responsibilities:
- Support Finance and Actuarial transformation projects across Group and Business Units under the guidance of project leads and subject matter experts.
- Coordinate project activities, including planning support, progress tracking, issue follow-up, documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Work with Finance, Actuarial, Operations, Data and IT teams to identify process improvement, reporting and automation opportunities.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements, and help translate them into functional requirements and solution designs.
- Support Finance and Actuarial reporting initiatives, including SAP, IFRS 17, subledger, local reporting and related data or process enhancements.
- Assist with process diagnostics, data-flow analysis, reconciliation issues and root-cause investigation across systems.
- Participate in AI and GenAI initiatives from a business implementation perspective, including use-case assessment, prototype support, requirements gathering, UAT, change management and deployment support.
- Collaborate with technology and data teams on workflow automation, analytics, cloud and data-platform solutions.
- Coordinate GO & local teams, FSA internal teams, IT teams to support timely project delivery and effective handover.
- Maintain a continuous-improvement mindset and build knowledge of insurance Finance, Actuarial processes and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Information Systems, Technology, Business or a related discipline.
- Approximately 4–6 years of relevant experience in Finance or Actuarial transformation, insurance systems, business analysis, technology implementation, consulting or project delivery.
- Good understanding of Finance and/or Actuarial processes in insurance or financial services; IFRS 17 exposure is preferred.
- Experience gathering requirements and coordinating cross-functional projects involving Finance, Actuarial, Data and IT stakeholders.
- Experience with financial systems, subledger, reporting, process automation, data, analytics or AI-enabled business initiatives is an advantage.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI use cases from a business implementation perspective, such as use-case assessment, prototyping, requirements, UAT or deployment support, is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.
- Proactive learning mindset, with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively within a project team.
- Professional qualification progress or relevant certifications, such as ACCA, are an advantage.
