Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Tees Valley Hospital, part of the Ramsay Health Care Group. The hospital is located in the grounds of Acklam Hall in Middlesbrough and offers a range of specialties including endoscopy, orthopaedics, and general surgery.
As a Catering Assistant, you will report to the Catering Supervisor and provide a high standard of catering service as part of the support services team. The department operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm with various shifts available.
Key responsibilities include:
- Possessing a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (or undertaking company-funded training)
- Obtaining food and beverage orders from patients, staff, and visitors
- Assisting in the preparation and service of food to patients, staff, and visitors
- Cleaning all areas of the catering department daily
- Understanding and adhering to current health and hygiene regulations
