Description
Syneos Health, a top life sciences services organization, seeks a Senior Statistical Programmer for a client-dedicated role in China. You will leverage your extensive SAS programming experience to drive project success in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop custom programming code using SAS or other software to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets according to statistical analysis plans and programming specifications.
- Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements by performing validation programming and collaborating with Programmers, Biostatisticians, and project team members to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized project documentation, testing, and verification/quality control documents and programs to ensure inspection readiness.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, set goals based on priorities, adapt to timeline changes, and develop specifications for datasets and outputs.
- Prepare for internal meetings, contribute ideas, demonstrate respect for others' opinions, and conduct effective meetings.
- As the lead statistical programmer, direct programming activities, monitor progress, review project documentation, and provide feedback.
- Participate in sponsor meetings and contribute to mentoring programming personnel.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a scientific or statistical discipline; equivalent experience considered.
- Extensive SAS programming experience, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
