Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a Relief Security Officer to join our team at The Sidings Waterloo in London.

As a Relief Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service, monitoring and controlling access to the site, and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with visitors and clients, providing a friendly, professional, and helpful service
• Perform regular site patrols, monitor and control unauthorised access, and manage emergencies as per site policies
• Work closely with the ABM Duty management team to ensure incidents are reported and managed efficiently
• Log incidents, emergencies, and non-conformances accurately
• Collaborate with Environmental Services and other teams to provide unified service

Requirements:

• Hold an SIA License (Door supervisor's license minimum)
• First Aid certification
• CCTV license desirable
• Strong communication skills, professional, friendly, proactive, and a team player
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver them with high standards
• Security experience within the retail or similar environment (preferable)
• Must be able to meet the requirements of BS7858 vetting
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritise tasks
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Approachable and courteous manner
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the role and the business
