As a Trading Manager at Morrisons, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked and our customers have a fantastic shopping experience.
You will report directly to the Store Manager and lead your team to deliver market-leading product availability, run smooth promotional events, and ensure every aisle is safe, legal, and ready for trade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading your team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences, planning promotions, and acting on customer feedback
- Managing shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, and delivering training to colleagues
- Driving performance and availability, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against operational and sales targets
- Planning resources, managing daily team routines, and building strong working relationships with other store departments

To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Have experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment
- Be confident in running shifts and handling daily trading priorities
- Be able to step up as Manager in Charge when required
- Communicate naturally, share knowledge, and deal with everyday challenges calmly
- Listen and adapt to customer and colleague feedback
- Take a practical approach to managing department routines, keeping a close eye on safety, stock availability, and operational standards
