Description
As a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, you will serve as a strategic technical leader who transforms engineering innovation into customer adoption by validating solutions, influencing product strategy, enabling the field, engaging key customers, and driving successful business outcomes across the product lifecycle.
You will be expected to lead initiatives across AOS-CX, Central AIOps, self-driving networking, security, AI-driven operations, customer adoption, launch readiness, competitive positioning, and executive customer engagements while influencing multi-million-dollar business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a subject matter expert for networking architectures, products, and solutions
- Defining, validating, and reviewing enterprise reference architectures and deployment best practices
- Providing technical guidance to product management, engineering, sales, and services
- Driving launch readiness for hardware and software releases
- Validating new features and solutions in customer-realistic environments
- Identifying deployment risks and ensuring product quality before GA
- Engaging directly with strategic customers, partners, and executives
- Supporting large opportunities, RFPs, competitive situations, and critical escalations
- Gathering customer feedback and influencing product direction
- Translating complex technologies into business outcomes
- Creating technical collateral, demos, workshops, TOIs, feature guides, and training assets
- Enabling SEs, partners, and customer-facing teams globally
- Working closely with engineering, PLM, marketing, and sales teams
- Influencing roadmap priorities based on market trends and customer requirements
- Representing the company at customer events, conferences, webinars, and industry forums
- Developing technical positioning against competitors
- Evangelising strategic initiatives such as AI-driven and self-driving networking
- Coaching junior engineers and future technical leaders
- Establishing technical standards and best practices
- Driving consistency, quality, and technical excellence across the organisation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of work experience in a related field. AI will be a plus.
- Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry.
- ML/AI certification will be a plus.
- Proficient understanding of product development and AI-native understanding of how AI/ML works.
- Proficient skills in AI-native Campus Fabric & Edge Architecture, Dynamic Policy, Zero Trust, and Security. enterprise networking, EVPN-VXLAN fabric, telemetry, APIs, and gRPC network management interface, and operational scalability & Automation.
