Description
The Technical Director, Stations Lead will report directly to the program engineering manager and support the program's underground station development as Owner's Engineer, ensuring technical deliverables meet project requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) design team
- Coordinating station design efforts and Community Working Group meetings
- Reviewing design documents and coordinating with BART on station design refinements
- Analyzing design delivery and construction schedules
- Providing technical reviews of station design documents
- Liaising with external stakeholders and third-party coordinators
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in related roles
- Experience in large rail transit design and construction projects, preferably with BART or similar
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of technical writing, office automation, and relevant software

Compensation: $200,000 - $260,000
