Production Associate II - 2nd Shift

We are looking for a talented Production Associate – Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in York, SC.

In this role, you will make an impact by ensuring safety, reporting incidents, adhering to HSE standards, using PPE, promoting team safety, and recognising environmental awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe work environment by stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately
• Report incidents, including work-related injuries, illnesses, and hazards
• Adhere to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations
• Consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment
• Promote team safety and interdependence
• Recognise and minimise the negative impact of your work on the environment
• Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures

Education:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift a minimum of 35lbs
• Operate pneumatic tools, overhead hoists, and other required equipment safely and effectively
• Perform duties associated with minor maintenance and material handling of rear axles
• Provide and maintain personal hand tools required by the team
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
• Work collaboratively as an effective team member
• Perform multiple job functions throughout the shift
• Safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and components weighing up to 50 pounds
