You will support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team; develop and maintain long-term relationships through professional/personal networks and contacts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Articulating and delivering strategic messages to clients, preparing presentations and proposals, and taking both solicited and unsolicited orders in all asset classes.
- Updating clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investment opportunities, and risks.
- Partnering with clients to update Know Your Client (KYC) information, client suitability profiles, hosting client meetings, monitoring funds/asset transfers, and handling client ad-hoc queries.
- Collaborating with integrated team members to provide high-quality client service.
- Tracking clients, Assets Under Management (AUM), and revenues using internal systems; periodically calculating account performance.
- Working with other teams to meet all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in wealth management, along with strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of financial sponsors clients in the Hong Kong and China market.
- Proven client management skills and effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- High level of integrity and risk awareness.
- Ability to work with different business functions across the bank.
- Comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a wealth management firm, having dealt directly with clients in a similar capacity covering investment advisory and client relationship management.
- Understanding of the private banking key regulatory and control environments relevant to the team.
