Accounts Payable Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to manage end-to-end AP processes for high-volume or complex accounts.

As a key member of our finance team, you will review and approve junior team members' invoice entries or payment proposals, handle escalated vendor disputes, and lead AP activities during month-end/quarter-end close.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing AP processes for complex accounts
• Reviewing and approving invoice entries and payment proposals
• Handling escalated vendor disputes and complex discrepancies
• Leading AP activities during month-end/quarter-end close
• Preparing and analysing AP performance reports
• Ensuring compliance with SOX/controls and providing input to Vendor Master Data processes
• Executing payment runs and supporting audits
• Identifying process improvement opportunities and providing training to junior staff

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A college degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Professional level of English and communicative level of German
• Experience with IFRS or other international accounting standards
• Strong SAP knowledge and good command of MS Office
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and manage people
• Willingness to travel abroad
