Middle School Special Education Teacher - 6th-8th Grade - 2026/2027 School Year

We are seeking a Middle School Special Education Teacher to join our team in Camden, NJ. As a special education teacher at Mastery, you will deliver robust research-based interventions, frequently monitor progress, and make logical adjustments to produce the best possible outcomes for students.

Responsibilities:

• Drive student achievement and set high expectations for all students
• Commit to professional growth, self-reflection, and receptiveness to feedback
• Implement rigorous and appropriate lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
• Work closely with school leaders to analyze student assessment data
• Collaborate in grade level teams to discuss student work and share best practices
• Engage families in their children's education
• Demonstrate genuine interest, belief, and care for students' personal and academic success

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Teacher certification
• Demonstrated expertise in subject area
• Outstanding instructional skills

Salary and Bonus Information:

• New teachers start at $60,900
• Mastery offers up to $86,700 based on experience and education
• Salaries range from $60,900 to $112,700
• Eligible for a $5,000 bonus and up to $5,000 for relocation expenses
