As a Field Sales Representative II in Central Missouri, you will achieve assigned targets with Bayer products, develop and implement dealer business plans, and serve as a key business consultant to retailers and dealers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Achieving assigned targets with Bayer products in coordination with pod mates
- Developing and implementing dealer business plans, managing forecasting, inventory management, and product line demand issues
- Serving as the key business consultant to retailers and dealers, effectively selling the value of Bayer Crop Science products
- Demonstrating proof of product performance against competitors
- Collaborating with pod mates, Field Sales Representatives, Customer Business Advisors, and Bayer Agronomists to maximize services, information, and sales
- Managing inventory concerns, gathering market and competitive information, and utilizing data to make key decisions
- Following set strategies for achieving long and short business plans for key accounts and assigned areas
- Effectively managing expenses, discretionary dollars, and program payments
- Showing initiative in expanding selling skills and product/portfolio knowledge
- Ensuring achievement of program execution and program fulfillment
- Partnering with pod mates and managing relationships with top growers and retailers
- Acting as a business expert for top growers and retailers
- Mentoring FSR interns, trainees, or more junior FSRs as requested
- Managing area claims per Bayer Crop Science policy
- Traveling approximately 60% primarily in the listed geography
- Growing market share of Crop Protection/Seed and Trait business and creating demand for seed growth, seed and trait, and chemistry within the territory

Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, account management, or agriculture
- Demonstrated product, portfolio, and agronomic knowledge
In terms of compensation, you can expect a salary of approximately $72,000 - $108,000 per year, with additional compensation including a bonus or commission. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
