As a part of the R&D Finance team at Datadog, you will support the product and engineering leadership team.
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team analyzes company financial data to support business growth and success. Within FP&A, the R&D Finance team enables the financial strategy behind Datadog's Engineering and Product organizations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with senior business leaders to manage departmental budgets
- Managing financial forecasts and analytics across revenue, customers, product, company expenses, and headcount
- Helping manage significant portions of the company's spend, including AI and GPU spend
- Working on trend, ROI, and profitability analyses to support data-driven decision making
- Assisting in planning and budgeting cycles, ensuring consistency in tools, templates, and processes
- Working on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives for senior management
- Becoming proficient with various financial planning and business intelligence tools, including Pigment, Tableau, and Metabase
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in FP&A / Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, and/or other related field
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
- Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint with proven experience in building financial models and managing complex data
- Clear, concise communication and teamwork skills
Nice to have:
- Solid understanding of Pigment
- Experience in or understanding of a consumption-based software business model
- Proficiency in use of AI tools
We offer a competitive salary and equity package, which may include variable compensation. The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role at Datadog is $99,000-$132,000 USD.
