Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist in our Equities & X Asset Fin Tech department.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Work with the product owner and Back Office Dev Lead to ensure that development work on GCP platform is well communicated, managed and delivered on time and with quality.
  • Lead the software development on GCP platform and ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained for build, deploy, test and release.
  • Ensure compliance of the GCP applications and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency.
  • Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered on GCP platform.
  • Maintain and enhance our GCP platform continuously, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our data analytics.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications:

  • Proficient Java programming skills and GCP working experience.
  • Extensive experience designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL workflows using BigQuery.
  • Hands-on experiences on GCP auto build and deployment pipelines and autorelease processes.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and practices.
  • Experience with SQL query optimization and performance tuning in BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and the ability to leverage GCP services for data processing and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent oral and written English is required.
