FBS Lead Fullstack Java/Angular Engineer

FBS – Farmer Business Services is part of Farmers operations with the purpose of building a global approach to identifying, recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.

We are looking for a Senior Lead Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Angular and/or Java. This role will provide technical leadership across Angular-based web applications, Java backend services, API integrations, and digital application delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in application development to manage specialized system applications throughout their lifecycle to ensure application solutions meet business needs.
• Influences and works to solve complex problems; analyzes more complex business requirements and user requirements and develops advanced, innovative and useful software solutions.
• Works independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
• May lead complex or cross-functional projects or manage relationships with vendors/contractors.
• Participates in all aspects of product development from advanced, detailed programming to high-level, complex system design.
• Owns the architecture and technical design for new initiatives/enhancements, creates proof of concepts, leads/mentors teams, maintains strong connection with the external teams.
• Enforces quality and best practices, supports production issue and analysis, ensures project execution within the budget, provides estimate for the features and epics, and supports pre-grooming.

Requirements:

• 7+ years working as a Fullstack engineer with Java (SpringBoot) and JavaScript (Angular)
• 1+ Experience managing teams and leading team members.
• Experience working on the frontend with Angular and Typescript.
• Experience working on the backend with Java
• Experience with microservices architecture, software design patterns, and RESTful API development
• Experience working with Cloud environments like AWS, Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
