Field Engineer

We're hiring a Field Engineer to lead the first-mile experience for customers adopting Cursor. You'll deliver high-quality onboarding sessions, including Cursor 101s and demos, to help teams quickly understand and realise value.

You’ll partner closely with Field Engineers on enterprise and strategic accounts, focusing on activation and providing crisp, engaging sessions that drive early adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cursor 101s, live demos, and onboarding sessions for prospective and existing customers
• Deliver clear, structured, and engaging walkthroughs tailored to different stacks and use cases
• Continuously refine demo flows and onboarding materials to improve quality and consistency
• Partner with Field Engineers to support enterprise accounts and provide clean handoffs for deeper technical work
• Run onboarding refreshers and “what’s new” sessions to expand adoption post-sale
• Track onboarding effectiveness and identify patterns that improve activation and engagement

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in solutions engineering, technical enablement, developer support, or similar roles
• Strong presentation skills, confidence in running live demos, and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Technical fluency in developer workflows, with familiarity with AI tools being a plus
• High reliability, preparation, and comfort in fast-paced environments
• Coachability, collaboration, and good judgment on when to escalate or go deeper
• Motivation to help users get to value quickly and drive real product adoption
