You'll work onsite in Bogota, Colombia, as a Senior QA Specialist for multiple teams at EA, each dedicated to a specific franchise.
You will report to QA Leadership, helping set quality standards and best practices for analyst and QA teams. You'll partner with leadership and cross-functional partners to define and deliver quality strategies, test plans, and continuous improvements that shape the player experience.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and support the team's testing tasks, resolving challenges including hardware and setup.
- Create, build, and manage detailed test scripts and plans.
- Compile and communicate data across sources; monitor bug entry/data quality, investigate and track difficult bugs, and provide clear feedback.
- Serve as a communication bridge between QA and development teams, ensuring alignment on quality plans and priorities.
- Absorb, apply, and help evolve EA QA processes; drive team adoption of best practices and quality data entry.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a player-first mentality and collaborative team culture.
- Suggest and help implement tools, automation, and data-driven efficiencies.
- Build effective working relationships with producers, designers, engineers, and QA colleagues.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience with defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Potential ability to mentor others on process and quality topics.
- Familiarity with automated testing, telemetry, and data analysis.
- Passion for videogames with a strong player-first mindset.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable making data-driven decisions, reporting on complex bugs, and compiling risk/status summaries.
