Description
We are seeking a Prison Officer to join our team at HMP Belmarsh in London.
As a Prison Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining order and stability within the prison, while also supporting the rehabilitation of prisoners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building constructive relationships with prisoners
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Providing support and guidance to prisoners
- Working as part of a team to achieve common goals
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Meet the Civil Service Nationality requirements
- Pass a medical and fitness assessment
- Meet the required eyesight standard
- Have a suitable standard of hearing
In return for your hard work, you will receive:
- A salary of £38,840 - £43,739 per year
- 25 days' annual holiday (rising to 30 days after 10 years' service)
