In this position, you will lead global quality strategy for vehicle and material logistics at Ford Motor Company.

Develop and implement a cohesive global quality framework for vehicle and material logistics, aligning regional processes with Ford's enterprise quality objectives and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and leading the global MP&L quality strategy for vehicle and material logistics
  • Establishing a common global quality operating framework that defines policies, procedures, standards, controls, escalation processes, and accountability across all regions
  • Aligning regional vehicle and material logistics quality processes with Ford Global Quality policies, warranty procedures, and enterprise quality objectives
  • Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving global MP&L quality policies, procedures, and standards covering vehicle and material logistics
  • Identifying and deploying global best practices across regions
  • Establishing governance forums and operating reviews to monitor quality performance, systemic risks, corrective actions, and regional implementation
  • Providing regular quality updates, risk assessments, and improvement recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ensuring audits evaluate compliance with Ford requirements, contractual obligations, process controls, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Partnering with regional leads to conduct logistics quality audits
  • Defining standardized global metrics, data definitions, performance targets, reporting cadences, and quality expectations for carriers, logistics service providers, terminals, ports, warehouses, facilities, and related suppliers
  • Benchmarking and implementing best-in-class delivery standards, gathering and analyzing customer feedback, and ensuring transparent communication and issue resolution to enhance vehicle delivery experiences globally

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, business, quality management, operations, or a related field
  • Significant progressive experience in logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, claims, warranty, or related operations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a large, complex, global organization
  • Experience leading vehicle logistics, material logistics, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, claims, warranty, or customer-experience operations
  • Strong knowledge of structured problem-solving, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, and continuous-improvement methods
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate quality, claims, cost, audit, and customer data into business actions
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions with limited direction, and manage multiple complex priorities
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including an understanding of claims recovery, cost analysis, account reconciliation, and internal controls
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative business applications
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
