Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cards Integration team at Mercury. The team owns the whole Mercury card, from issuance to settlement and reporting, and we're responsible for making the Mercury Debit and IO cards reliable, correct, useful, and innovative.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Lead projects from idea to implementation and launch, working with your PM, EM, tech lead, and teammates
- Learn how debit and credit cards work under the hood and use that knowledge every day
- Build features across the stack, from card experiences to backend systems that move money
- Help keep our operations excellent and mentor other engineers
- Work with product, design, operations, risk, compliance, sales, and other teams
Requirements:
- Strong full-stack experience and systems thinking
- Experience making architectural decisions on complex systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and mentor others
- Comfortable with Haskell and TypeScript or willing to learn
The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are:
- US employees: $166,600-$208,300 USD
- Canadian employees: $157,400-$196,800 USD
