We are seeking a Shift Lead to join our team at M&S Mary Street in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading the fill operation, ensuring the sales floor is ready to trade, and coordinating resources to deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the fill operation and take operational responsibility for coordinating resources
- Coach colleagues on One Best Way and drive productivity
- Allocate resources effectively to deliver a quick payment experience
- Implement daily operational processes efficiently across the store
- Coordinate the team to deliver a clean, safe, and well-presented store
- Create a great team atmosphere that is inclusive of everyone
- Role model great Customer Service and M&S behaviours
- Support Colleague Managers and share observations to deliver high performance
- Support nearby stores if operationally required
- Be a key holder and respond to call-outs as required
- Perform tasks related to opening and closing the building

Requirements:
- Good level of digital capability
- Knowledge of commercial operation, brilliant basics, and operational excellence
- Current working knowledge of VM principles
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of legal requirements associated with customer assistant and duty managing roles
- High presentation standards and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret data
