Assistant Manager - Group Product Management

Prudential Health India is seeking an Assistant Manager - Group Product Management to join their Product & Propositions team in Mumbai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, launching, and refining health insurance propositions that serve customer needs, improve saleability, and manage risk for the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and launching health insurance products, including Retail Indemnity, Fixed benefit, and Group products
• Conducting distributor, customer, and market research to identify new product opportunities and refine existing offerings
• Developing compelling product propositions that deliver revenue and loss-ratio goals
• Defining and documenting product requirements, including features, functionalities, pricing, and distribution channels
• Leading go-to-market plans, including marketing campaigns, sales training, and channel partner enablement
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and launch products
• Analysing product performance data to generate insights and identify areas for improvement

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Statistics, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the health insurance industry
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling Retail and Retail Under Group products
• Excellent knowledge of product configuration in core systems and front-end sales platforms
• Strong understanding of the health insurance market, including industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape
