Assistant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to oversee 2nd shift Outbound Warehouse Operations at our Hodgkin's fulfillment center.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Operations Manager and directly manage a team to drive daily throughput against targets while building a stronger frontline leadership bench.

Responsibilities:

• Manage 2nd shift Outbound execution end-to-end, focusing on Dry and Fresh/Frozen operations
• Maintain outbound distribution operations by enforcing policies and procedures
• Evaluate performance metrics for quality delivery and cost-efficient workflows
• Coach and manage frontline teams in a high-volume fulfillment environment
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing regulations
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing security procedures
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing budgets and analyzing variances
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse/fulfillment operations
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role
• WMS experience with KPI/productivity tracking
• Proficient computer skills, including Excel and reporting tools
• Ability to work 2nd shift consistently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Six Sigma/Lean process improvement exposure
• Experience scaling a growing distribution center
• OSHA certification or project management certification

Compensation Range:

• $75,000 - $88,000 per year
