Fraud & Transaction Monitoring Specialist

As a Fraud & Transaction Monitoring Specialist, you will monitor, detect, investigate, escalate, and mitigate fraudulent activities across payment channels, merchants, and transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor transactions and merchant activities to identify fraud, suspicious patterns, and abnormal behaviour.
• Review and investigate fraud alerts, suspicious transactions, and merchant escalations.
• Analyse transaction data to identify fraud patterns and financial exposure.
• Support fraud rule development, tuning, testing, and optimisation.
• Investigate and respond to fraud-related cases from payment partners.
• Prepare fraud and transaction monitoring reports.
• Maintain investigation records and support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Fraud Management, Compliance, and Technology.

Pre-Requisites:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (finance, accounting, banking, IT, computer science, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in fraud, risk, operations, banking, payments, or investigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Knowledge of transaction monitoring, report preparation, and fraud investigation.
