Senior Software Engineering Manager - EA SPORTS™ UFC

As a Senior Software Engineering Manager at EA SPORTS™ UFC, you will lead a team of engineers and help build immersive digital entertainment experiences. You will be responsible for people management, hiring, career growth, and performance management. Your technical expertise will include system design, engineering workflows, and online architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a diverse and global engineering team
• Improve team health and well-being
• Organize mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and guidance for engineers
• Drive staffing and recruitment
• Foster an agile engineering culture
• Determine technical resource requirements
• Promote technical processes and plans
• Coordinate strategic efforts and planning
• Improve workflows, tools, and iteration loops
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in engineering and technology

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 10+ years of relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience leading agile engineering teams of 6+ engineers
• Experience with mentoring, goal setting, mediation, and career planning
• Experience identifying and recruiting talent
• Technical understanding of OOP and C++
• Experience with development environment tools such as Perforce, Git, Visual Studio
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment best practices
