RN Clinical Nurse II - Women's Specialty Unit

We are seeking a skilled RN Clinical Nurse II to join our Women's Specialty Unit (WSU) team at UNC Medical Center. The WSU is a 14-bed unit providing care to patients with gynaecology benign and gynaecology oncology diagnoses.

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
• Developing and implementing plans of care
• Providing direct patient care, including administering medications and performing treatments
• Educating patients and families on self-care and management of conditions
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate patient care and develop strategies for improvement

Requirements:

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
• One year of nursing experience

We offer a competitive salary range of $34.22 - $48.38 per hour, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
